Cold calling services that call when there is a reason to call
B2B cold calling services run as one channel of managed outbound. Research and signals come first, calls are coordinated with email and LinkedIn, and every conversation is qualified before a meeting is booked.
- Calls, email and LinkedIn together
- Live in about one week
- First meetings typically weeks 4 to 6
- $2,500 a month, no long-term commitment

Why now
Caller
I saw Northbridge is hiring in operations, so I will keep this short. Is now a bad time?

The calling work
What the calling work actually is
Signal-based outbound means reaching an account because something just happened that makes your offer relevant, instead of working a cold list in bulk. Calls follow that rule.
- 1
A reason comes first
An account reaches the call queue because something has just happened: a role change, a funding round, a hiring push, or a visit to your website. A name on a list is not a reason.
- 2
Research before the dial
AI does the research on the company and the person. A person then decides whether a call is warranted, and what the opening should say about why now.
- 3
The call, when it fits
Where a call is the right next touch, it is placed with that context in hand. Where it is not, the account gets email or LinkedIn first. A call is a choice, not a default.
- 4
Coordinated follow-up
Repeat attempts are planned alongside email and LinkedIn, so a prospect is not hit with duplicate or conflicting touches across channels.
- 5
Qualify, then book
A conversation is checked against your ICP, timing, budget and role. Only then does the meeting land on your calendar, with a short brief on the account.
Signals come from three places: your website visitors (where DeliChat is running and the visitor’s consent allows), recent company triggers our research pulls, and how prospects respond. AI does the research and preparation, and people write the approach and use judgement. We make no claim about a reply or meeting uplift from signals. DeliVoice, our voice agent, answers inbound calls and places consented follow-up calls. It is not an outbound dialler, and you can read what DeliVoice does on its own page.
One sequence, three channels
Calls, email and LinkedIn, working together
Each channel has a job. Calls are most useful when they follow a reason and sit beside the other two, not when they stand alone.
0.45%
reply rate across 7.5 million cold emails sent
Opens the conversation at scale
Email carries the context and the reason for getting in touch. It is also the lowest-yield channel per message, so volume stays modest and relevance does the work.
Source: Belkins
28.5%
average connection acceptance across 13.2 million requests
Makes the sender visible
A connection request and a short message put a real profile behind the outreach, so the email and the call are not the first the prospect has heard of you.
Source: Expandi
9.9%
of dials connect, across 175,000+ dials
Reaches people the other channels miss
A call gets an answer, a no or a better contact in minutes rather than weeks. It is also the costliest channel in effort per conversation, which is why it is used with a reason.

The three figures measure different things (a reply, an acceptance, a connected dial), so they are not ranked against each other.
Cold calling funnel
What it takes to book one meeting by phone
Each bar has its own base (per dial, per prospect, per conversation), so read them as three separate rates on one scale, not as a single leaking pipe.
~370
dials per meeting booked
Source: Belkins, 175,000+ cold-calling dials. Numbers like these are why we aim calls at accounts with a reason and coordinate them with the other channels. Read the cold calling data in full.
On the call
Qualified before booking, handled with respect
A booked meeting is only worth having if you would be glad to take it. We hold every conversation to the ICP, timing, budget and role you agree with us in the ICP workshop.
Gatekeepers
A gatekeeper is doing their job. We are plain about who we are and why we are calling, and we ask for the right person. We do not use tricks to get past them, and if the role is wrong we move on and fix the contact data.
Ask for the right person
Objections
“Not now” is information. We log it, set a time to come back and keep the account warm through email and LinkedIn instead of pushing. “Send me something” tells us which channel to use next.
Log it, return later, stay warm
Hard no
A clear refusal is respected. The contact is suppressed and removed from every sequence, across all channels.
Suppress across every channel
How a conversation becomes a meeting is set out on the appointment setting services page.
The rules
Is B2B cold calling legal?
It depends on where you call, who you call and how. The picture below is general information, not legal advice.
The FTC states that most calls between a telemarketer and a business are exempt from the Telemarketing Sales Rule, with exceptions, so the consumer National Do Not Call Registry is not usually the main constraint on a B2B call. State laws vary, and the call content must still be truthful.
State laws vary
The ICO says B2B callers must screen against both the TPS register (sole traders and some partnerships) and the CTPS register (companies and some other bodies), as well as their own suppression list. A call to a small firm can be covered even when it feels like B2B.
Screen TPS and CTPS
The TCPA treats AI-generated voices as artificial, so calls using them need prior consent from the person called. That is why we do not point an AI voice at cold numbers, and why DeliVoice is used for inbound answering and consented follow-up.
Prior consent needed

Who it is for
When calling is a good fit, and when it is not
It suits B2B companies where one new customer, or a few repeat orders, pays back months of the service.
A good fit
- A B2B business with a defined offer and a clear ideal client
- One new customer, or a few repeat orders, covers the cost of a call-led meeting
- Buyers who can be reached by phone as well as by email and LinkedIn
- A sales team able to take and run the meetings
Browse the industries we work with:
Not the right fit
- Calling as your only channel
- High-volume dialling of low-ticket offers
- A customer worth too little to repay the cost of a human-led call
- Consumer (B2C) products
If outbound is not right for you, we say so on the first call.
