The launch gap

Shipping is the easy part. Being found is the product.

AI tools got you to launch in days. They did not tell you that a live site and a findable site are different things. Three checks take under a minute.

  1. 1

    Check you are indexed

Search Google for site:yourdomain.com. No results means Google has not indexed you, and nothing else on this page matters until that is fixed.

  2. 2

    Search your own name

Search your brand name in quotes. If other companies, directories or a different spelling outrank you, your brand has no clear identity for search engines to anchor to.

  3. 3

Ask an AI who you are

Ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude "what is [your brand] and who is it for?". A vague, wrong or missing answer shows how little they have read about you.

What you see

  • A clean, modern site you shipped fast
  • A product you are proud of
  • A homepage that reads well to you

What your buyers see

  • Competitors and roundups where you should be
  • An AI answer that skips your category, or your name
  • No page that answers the question they just asked
Why it happens

Four reasons a good-looking SaaS site stays invisible

None of them are about design taste. They are structural, and they stack.

Technical

The page looks finished but reads empty

AI site builders often ship pages that assemble themselves in the browser. Vercel analysed AI crawler traffic and found OpenAI and Anthropic crawlers download JavaScript files but do not run them. If your copy only appears after the script runs, it can be missing from what they read.

Content

One homepage cannot answer a hundred questions

A landing page and a pricing page cover a tiny slice of what buyers search. Nothing explains the problem, compares the options or answers the objections, so there is nothing for Google or an AI assistant to retrieve and quote.

Authority

Nobody else has mentioned you yet

Search results for software buying terms lean on roundups, Reddit and Quora threads. A new brand with no third-party mentions has no signal that it exists, however good its own site is.

Conversion

A template looks like every other template

When many products ship with similar layouts and similar generated copy, visitors cannot tell what is different about yours. Traffic that arrives bounces, and the work to earn it is wasted.

The evidence

What the data says about how software gets chosen

We lead with research, not opinion. Every number below is named and sourced at the bottom of the page.

Established companies only. We did not test brand-new or AI-built sites, and a company with no market presence yet would likely score lower. Your own result is one click away in the free audit.

The full funnel

We cover the whole journey, not just the homepage.

Qualified searchers arrive at different moments. We build a page for each one, so the right person finds the right answer.

They have a problem, no solution yet

The buyer describes a pain, not a product category. In our own AI visibility audit, problem-first questions surfaced a named business far less often than comparison questions, so this is where most SaaS brands are missing.

What this searcher types or asks (examples)

  • why do customers cancel right after onboarding
  • how to stop failed payments hurting recurring revenue
  • what is the best way to track feature usage

Pages we build for them

  • Problem explainers written in your buyer’s own words
  • Original data and benchmarks others cite and link to
  • Glossary and definition pages built for AI answers

The job of this stage

Get your name into the room before the shortlist forms. Most of the decision is made before a seller is invited in.

01

Technical overhaul

Crawlability, rendering, indexation, site speed, structured data and clean architecture. We make sure what you wrote is what Google and AI crawlers actually read.

02

Design and conversion

A site that does not look like every other generated one, with a clear message, a clear next step and proof where a doubtful buyer looks for it.

03

Full-funnel content

Top, middle and bottom pages mapped to the searches your ideal customers make, written by people who research the market first.

04

Authority and mentions

The third-party presence search engines and AI assistants lean on: original data worth citing, relevant roundups, communities and digital PR done properly.

Human and AI

In a web full of AI sites, the human part is the edge.

AI makes us faster at research and structure. It does not write your site. A person writes, edits and fact-checks every page, because buyers and AI assistants both reward content that says something specific and true.

What makes it ours

We start from data, then write in your buyer's own words

Most agencies start from a keyword list. We start from what your business knows, what the market is doing and how your audience actually talks.

First-party

What your own business already knows

  • Search Console and analytics: what you already earn and where you leak
  • Sales calls, demo notes and support tickets: the words buyers really use
  • CRM and product data: which customers stay and what they have in common
Third-party

What the market is doing without you

  • Keyword and SERP datasets: what is searched and who ranks
  • AI answer tracking: which brands and sources assistants cite today
  • Review sites, communities and industry reports: where your category talks
Trend analysis

Where your niche is heading

  • Rising and falling terms in your industry, month on month
  • Competitor moves: new pages, new angles, new mentions
  • Gaps nobody has answered well yet, which become your pages
Audience language

Organic marketing in your buyer’s voice

  • We write with your audience’s phrases, not category jargon
  • Content that sounds like a peer, not a press release
  • The same words in your pages, your answers and your outreach
Your options

How it works

Six months is our recommendation. You are never locked in.

Search compounds, so we recommend giving it around six months: the early months go on foundations. You pay monthly and can stop whenever you do not see value.

  1. Before you commit1

    Discovery call

We learn what you sell, what you are building, who it is for and who you compete with.

  2. Week 1 to 22

    Game plan you validate

A written plan covering the overhaul, the funnel pages, the keywords and the authority work. You challenge it and approve it before work starts.

  3. Months 1 to 23

    Fix the foundation

Technical and conversion fixes ship first, then bottom-of-funnel pages, because they sit closest to revenue.

  4. Months 3 to 54

    Build the funnel

Middle and top pages go live in the order the data says matters, alongside the authority work. We track indexation, impressions and AI citations as the early signals.

  5. Month 65

    Review with real numbers

We show what moved, what did not and why. You decide whether to continue.

  6. Month 7 onward6

    Expand and compound

More keywords, more authority and a stronger position in the market, if you want to continue.

What we will not promise

A ranking, a lead count or a date. What we do promise is the plan, the work, the reporting and an honest read at month six. If search is not the right channel for your product, we will say so on the first call.

Free, two ways

Start with an audit. Pick who runs it.

Both are free. One is instant and automated. The other is a person doing the full job.

Option one: instant

Audit my site, now

Enter your domain and our AI visibility checker shows how assistants talk about your brand today and which pages they read to build the answer. No call, no waiting.

  • How AI assistants currently describe you
  • Which sources they cite instead of you
  • Where your site falls short for AI readers

Option two: a real person

Ask for a manual audit instead of AI

A member of our team reviews your business by hand. You get the findings and the data, free, whether or not you work with us.

  • Full business and website audit
  • Competitor research: who wins your searches and why
  • Demand research: what your market actually searches for
  • The data presented to you, not locked behind a pitch

Free for SaaS companies auditing their own product. Please use your business email so we can match it to your domain, or email [email protected] confirming the site is yours. We do not run free audits for agencies working on behalf of clients. For that, see white label AEO.

Free. A real person does the work. No obligation to buy anything afterwards.

Honest fit

Who this is for, and who it is not for

A good fit

  • A live SaaS product with a clear ideal customer and a site built with an AI tool, a template or a quick sprint
  • Your brand name does not appear, or appears badly, in Google or in AI answers
  • You want a real programme: technical, design, content and authority in one team
  • You can give search around six months, because it compounds and a one-month test proves little

Not a fit

  • You want guaranteed rankings or a guaranteed number of leads. Nobody honest can promise either.
  • You want us to buy links, fake reviews or hide ownership of roundup lists
  • You have no product in market yet, or cannot name who it is for
  • You want generated copy at volume and no human review
Questions

SaaS SEO and AEO, answered

The questions founders ask us before anything else.

Why can nobody find my SaaS brand in Google?

Usually one or more of four things: the site is not indexed or its content is not readable without running JavaScript, the brand has no pages answering what people search for, no other site has mentioned you so there is nothing to confirm you exist, or the name clashes with something else. A free audit shows which of these applies to you.

Is a website built with AI bad for SEO?

Not by nature. The risk is in how many AI-built sites ship: pages that render in the browser, thin generic copy, and one homepage doing the work of a whole site. Fix the rendering, replace the generic copy and build the missing pages, and the origin of the first draft stops mattering.

What is SaaS SEO?

SaaS SEO is search optimisation for software companies: technical health, pages mapped to each stage of the buying journey, and the third-party presence that makes a new brand credible. It differs from generic SEO because SaaS buyers research for a long time, compare several options and read a lot before booking a demo.

How is answer engine optimisation different from SEO for SaaS?

SEO earns you a place in a list of links. Answer engine optimisation earns you a mention inside the answer ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity or Google AI gives. They share foundations, so we do both, but AI answers also draw on third-party sources, which is why the authority work matters.

Do I have to commit to six months?

No. Six months is our recommendation, not a lock-in. You pay month by month and can stop at any point if you do not see value. We recommend six because the first months go on foundations, and pages need time to be indexed, read and cited before they bring qualified searchers. After six months you can keep going while we target more keywords and build more authority, or stop.

Do you use AI to write the content?

We use AI to speed up research, clustering and structure. We do not paste generated copy into your site. A person writes and edits every page, checks every statistic against a named source, and nothing goes live without your approval.

What is in the free audit, and what is the manual audit?

The instant audit runs on our AI visibility checker and shows how assistants currently talk about your brand. The manual audit is done by a person: a full review of your business and site, research on your competitors, and demand research on what your market is actually searching, with the data presented to you free of charge. It is for SaaS companies auditing their own product, so we ask for a business email that matches your domain, or an email from you confirming the site is yours. We do not run free manual audits for agencies working on behalf of clients.

What does it cost?

The Inbound programme is $2,500 a month on monthly billing with no long-term commitment, or $6,000 a quarter or $18,000 a year paid up front. The full overhaul, covering technical, design, conversion and content, is included in that price. Everything is on the pricing page, and the game plan sets out exactly what is rebuilt, fixed and added before you start.

Which platforms do you work with?

Any of them: Lovable, Bolt, v0, Webflow, Framer, WordPress, Next.js or a custom build. If a platform limits what search engines can read, we tell you plainly and recommend a fix, including moving the marketing site off it while the product stays where it is.

Get your SaaS found by the people already looking.

Thirty minutes. We look at where you stand in Google and AI answers, who is winning your searches and whether this programme makes sense for your product. If it does not, we will say so.

  • A clear scope and price before any commitment
  • A game plan you validate before work begins
  • A free audit either way, instant or by a person
